I started as an Android developer in 2017 and never stopped shipping. Along the way I picked up the
part of the job most engineers avoid — hiring, sprint facilitation, client discovery, the
difficult conversations — and discovered I liked it as much as the code.
At Miaki Media I built a mobile division from scratch for a major telecom VAS
platform: hired the team, set up the release pipeline, defined the code review bar. At
Dhrubok I led a 4–5 person squad through full product lifecycles — discovery to Play
Store — and ran the agile ceremonies as a Certified Scrum Master.
Today at Truely I'm the senior IC and mentor on a remote mobile team scaling a
global eSIM platform. I drove the multi-module refactor, owned the CI/CD pipeline, and standardised
a reusable Flutter/Bloc skeleton the squad now ships on daily. The platform grew
8× users and 9× revenue across 150+ countries during my time on it.
I've done the EM work — under team-lead titles. Now I'm looking for the formal Engineering Manager
role where the title matches the work. Berlin, Amsterdam, remote-EU all welcome.
